Jeff’s hospitality career began in Los Angeles, humbly as the doorman and protector at LA’s celebrity driven restaurants, supper clubs and private nightclubs, most notably as the general manager of the infamous Les Deux as depicted on the TV show The hills. attracting the attention of headhunters and recruiters – he was eventually recruited to las vegas as the vice president of operations at the premiere hospitality and management company, light group. overseeing 15 multi-faceted venues located within MGM Resorts premium properties – Aria, Bellagio, mirage and Mandalay Bay, generating revenues over $150 million annually.
Jeff launched his consulting career in 2013 overseeing all aspects of design and construction thru operations of the celebrity fueled Beachers madhouse with a $100 million / 20 year agreement in place at MGM Grand…culminating the project with a New Year’s Eve launch hosted by Miley Cyrus.
An industry referral in 2013 put Jeff’s knowledge and experience to the test as the project consultant for Meruelo GROUPS’ $15 million Lex Nightclub Pool concept, located within the 2,000 room Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada -with a SUCCESSFUL launch, established the club as the premiere nightlife destination within the Northern Nevada and California region.
Next up a 2-year consulting project located in Toronto’s upscale Yorkville neighborhood – what began as a private members club, restaurant and patio materialized into the legendary Kasa Moto Restaurant, Bar and Private Lounge operated by Chase Hospitality Group, launching with a series of private parties and lebron james’ birthday aligned with an impressive F&B OFFERING thus solidifying its place among toronto’s F&B / nightlife scene.
In 2015 jeff was lured back by Meruelo Groups Billionaire founder Alex meruelo as the vice president of entertainment and began a 5-year journey to establish and become president of meruelo entertainment. Growing an entertainment division encompassing 2 iconic storied properties – Grand Sierra Resort and Sahara resort, totalling 3,600 rooms, overseeing 15 multi-faceted venues, artist / DJ bookings, marketing, PR, securing a 15-year residency with Channing Tatum’s magic mike live, establishing long term residencies with comedian eddie griffin and monique, securing a multi-year agreement with the Miss USA Pageant, securing long term sponsorships with premium brands as well as long term partnerships with ticketmaster and live nation to produce over 100+ concerts and events ending 2019 – all STRATEGICALLY designed in driving revenues upwards of $30 million.
In 2022 Jeff joined forces with global EXPERIENTIAL company Legends as the Vice President Hospitality overseeing the development of Private Membership Clubs, highlighting underutilized event space within professional sports stadiums, arenas, ballparks, training facilities, premium universities as well as stand alone venues. Providing a new revenue stream as well as adding a new fan touch point for the organization or university. Overseeing the design, development, membership sales, marketing, F&B operations of multiple projects in partnership with iconic organizations; San Antonio Spurs, Real Madrid FC, Florida State University, University Maryland.
